Tour Description

A full immersion for  achaeology lovers and for those they want to visit two of the most important archaeological sites of the world. Pompeii and Herculaneum were buried by the same eruption in 79 A.D. but  in a different way : Pompeii was buried unde a thick carpet of volcanic ash instead Herculaneum was covered by yards of rock- solid volcanic debris, which makes it tough to excavate but on the other side, the site offers a huge variety of wooden objets and other organic materials.
