Tour Description

We reach by private car the city of Paestum,in the south of Salerno,reknowed as the city of buffalo cheese and for the presence of one of the most important and well preserved archaeological greek site of the world.
We visit an organic farm and cheese factory where we understand everything about mozzarella: from the stables where the buffaloes are kept to the buffalo milk process, and the tour will end with a tasting of mozzarella cheese and buffalo milk ice-cream.

Then we move by private car few kilometres far away to the Archaeological site of Paestum: The city was founded by greek colonists about 600 BC and it had become a flourishing town by 540, judging from its temples.Then the city came under the domination of the Romans and during the roman period,the city was enriched with other buildings.
