WHAT TO EXPECT:
- A professional english speaking driver who will take care of all your needs from the pick up from your location to the drop off back to your stay
- A unique way to enjoy the fascinating Amalfi coast by stopping along the coast (the stops are Positano, Amalfi and Ravello)
- A new Mercedes vehicle for the best comfort
During your stops you will the chance to walk down to Positano (all the vehicles have to stop in the parking area as the centre of Positano is a pedestrian area with many steps) and browse around the little ceramic shops or the handmade sandals workshops. Once arrived down to the beach , you can enjoy a lunch or a refreshing aperitivo and, why not, take a swim in the blue water of the coast.
Amalfi is, unlike Positano, on the sea, with a huge beach just in front of the entrance to the historical centre, with its monumental Cathedral , dedicated to St.Andrew and its narrow streets with typical shops. We suggest to stop to see the famous handmade paper of Amalfi, as the Amalfi people where the first to know and disseminate techniques for the production of paper.
The town of Ravello is located on a steep cliff above sea level and enjoys a panoramic view of the Thyrrenian Sea and the Gulf of Salerno. Of particular interest is the Cathedral, built in 1087 and home to one of the most important bronze doors in Italy, and dedicated to St.Pantaleone, whose dried blood is contained in a rich ampulla.
In the 13th century the Villa Rufolo was built for the richest family of Ravello, famous for its somptuous gardens, especially the promontory garden decorated with fragrant blossoms that was once beloved by Wagner and is now the site of the famous Ravello music festival. The most salient point of the spur on which it stands ravello is the belvedere of Villa Cimbrone, that occupies the most gobsmacking position on the entire Amalfi coast, with lush gardens, fountains, temples.
